If you’re in need of free gems in BTS World you might think that cheats or hacks are a good option, but do any of these gem generators actually work? We put them to the test to find out.
BTS World, the game based on the popular K-pop group BTS, was recently launched by Netmarble and took the app store by storm. It quickly took the #1 spot on both Android and iOS as a result of the popularity of the band. In BTS World you take on the role of being the band’s manager. The game was incredibly well received by BTS fans with an average rating of 4.9 stars out of 5 on both platforms.
The game is free to download, but offers a premium subscription in the form of a VIP membership ($5 a month). In addition, there’s the premium currency called “gems”. These Gems are quite important in order to have success in the game, but they aren’t cheap.
However, immediately after the game was released several websites popped up promising players free gems. They claim that they have hacked the game and offer their visitors a gem generator, but how can you know whether these tools actually work and are safe to use? That’s where we come in. We tested them all out and will share our results with you.
BTS World Gem Hacks
When you start your quest for free gems you’ll inevitably end up on websites that claim to be able to add thousands of gems into your account if you enter your username and click a few buttons on a generator. Usually these sites look something like this:
There are quite a few of those sites, and they all look quite similar to one another. They all ask you for your username and how many gems you’d like to generate. Then you’re supposed to press a few buttons and voila, free gems! But is it really that simple, or is it too good to be true?
The hack in the screenshot above is one we found on YouTube. In the YouTube video they show “proof” that their tool works by giving a real-time demonstration of their hack in action. Nevertheless, we wanted to find out for ourselves if it really did work, or if the video was simply edited to try and trick you.
We also tested all the other BTS World Hack sites that we could find to give a definitive answer whether hacking the game is possible.
Do they really give free gems?
We rigorously tested every single BTS World Gem Generator we could find, but unfortunately none of them work at all. They all claim to work, but none of them actually do.
No matter how much “proof” these sites offer you (often in the form of videos, screenshots or a “recent activity” window) we never received free gems from any of them. Don’t let these sites fool you, you’ll only end up wasting your time.
If you come across websites that claim that you’re able to obtain thousands of gems through some form of hack or cheat codes, stay far away.
If you think about it, it makes a lot of sense that they don’t work. Netmarble is a company that has a ton of experience creating mobile games, so they’re well aware of how to protect their games from stuff like this. On top of that, even if such tools would work, it would be patched in no time and all accounts that used it would most likely be banned. It’s simply not worth the risk.
