The premise of the game
Love Nikki might seem like a simple dress up game at first glance, but once you start playing you’ll quickly realize that there’s much more to it than you initially thought. The game has an interesting “PvP” aspect to it in the form of the stylist’s arena where players can dress up their character according to a theme and compete against others for prizes.
Naturally the main aspect of the game is dressing up, that’s why it’s a dress up game. You can customize almost everything about your character. Your hair, accessoires and a fully fledged wardrobe are all completely customizable. If you simply want to dress up your character and have some fun, you can head over to the Free Dress Mode. However, if you want to get into the story line, the campaign is also available.
The campaign is quite similar to the aforementioned stylist’s arena, with one major difference: you play against NPCs (computers) instead of real humans.
All in all the game has a lot to offer, which is why so many people have been playing this game for years and keep coming back for more.
Is Love Nikki Pay to win?
Love Nikki-Dress UP Queen is a free-to-play game, but it’s monetized through micro-transactions.
There are two forms of currencies in Love Nikki: coins and diamonds. Coins can be obtained by playing the game, while diamonds are the premium currency.
You can obtain diamonds through winning in the stylist’s arena, but the main way to get them is by buying them through in-app purchases. Diamonds are used to unlock new clothes and outfits. Since clothes are pretty important in a dress up game (duh), you can’t really get around the need for diamonds.
Another use of diamonds is recharging your stamina. You need stamina in order to progress through the campaign, which gives the diamonds even more importance.
However, since you can obtain diamonds for free by performing well in the stylist’s arena, we wouldn’t say that the game is necessarily pay 2 win. Graphics are subjective. Everyone has their own preference on what they deem a nice graphical style. We definitely think that Love Nikki is a beautifully designed game.
